Responsabilities
Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Lead Designer, you will be responsible for designing, modeling, and adapting technical drawings for the manufacturing of laboratory furniture, including cabinets, tables, and chemical fume hoods.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D drawings based on 3D models to produce the technical documentation required for manufacturing;
- Produce 2D production drawings in accordance with dimensioning standards, technical requirements, and company quality standards;
- Create and manage manufacturing routings based on production processes and requirements;
- Prepare and update documentation related to design procedures and methods;
- Design and update electrical schematics required for various projects;
- Collaborate with various stakeholders and perform any other related tasks or projects assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Assets
What You Need to Succeed
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Industrial Drafting;
- Demonstrated proficiency in Autodesk Inventor;
- Experience using a PDM system, such as Autodesk Vault, is an asset;
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes in a manufacturing environment, particularly for metal products, including punching, bending, and welding;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and functional proficiency in English;
- Strong attention to detail, rigor, autonomy, and organizational skills;
- Strong focus on internal customer service and teamwork.
