As the Director of Estimating, you will play a key role in the company’s growth by leading all estimating and proposal activities. You will be responsible for the accuracy of project estimates, the optimization of estimating processes, and the development of a high-performing team capable of delivering competitive, high-quality proposals.

Key Responsabilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee all activities within the Estimating Department.
• Develop and maintain an effective bidding and estimating methodology that promotes quality, accuracy, and productivity.
• Review drawings, specifications, technical documents, and tender packages to accurately assess project requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy of costs, quantities, and estimates included in proposals.
• Verify that all submissions comply with bid requirements and company profitability objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize solutions proposed to clients.
• Support the Sales team in client development and retention efforts, while providing assistance to our distributor network.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating tools, processes, and technologies, including the use of Bluebeam.
• Lead, coach, and develop the estimating team while fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and innovation.
• Ensure effective human resources management, including recruitment, training, employee development, performance management, and succession planning.
