Responsabilities
We are looking for a talented and experienced designer to join our team. As a designer and under the supervision of the Director of the Production Implementation Department, you will be responsible for creating 3D models and designing mechanical parts using CREO and Inventor software.
Responsibilities:
- Modeling mechanical parts and assemblies using CREO and Inventor software;
- Parameterize parts taking into account production restrictions and technical specifications required by customers;
- Develop sheet metal components (flattening);
- Make modifications and revisions to existing designs and documentation based on product revisions;
- Check drawings to ensure they comply with specifications;
- Design production templates;
- Create non-standard items;
- Work on any other related tasks and/or special projects that may be assigned to you by your immediate supervisor.
Assets
Required skills:
- College diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial design, architecture or any other experience deemed valid.
- Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes (punching, bending and welding);
- Experience with the use of 3D modeling software;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in French and English;
- Good ability and aptitude to work in a team;
- Dynamic, spirit of synthesis, creativity, attention to detail, resourcefulness and organizational skills.
